Energy Efficient Walling
Expanded Polystyrene walling is an economical, lightweight, energy efficient material for new construction and renovations.
The cellular structure of the Expanded Polystyrene used in the walling is CFC free and offers excellent thermal insulation properties. The durable and energy efficient material is usually fixed to the studs of timber or steel wall framing, but can also be installed over reinforced concrete and masonry.
Once the Expanded Polystyrene walling has been correctly installed, it can then be prepared, rendered and textured to an attractive, weatherproof finish using RSA’s complete system of products.
In fact, RSA has developed an advanced formulation render and acrylic texture system specifically designed for polystyrene enerygy efficient walling. The system not only looks great, but offers the following benefits:-
